Itinerary A little orientation to my itinerary. Chengdu was our central base, with Jiuzhaigou to the north, Leshan to the south, and Siguniangshan to the west. The itinerary was not very well planned, as it involved repeated ascending and descending in altitude, which was difficult for someone like me who is prone to high-altitude sickness. Both Siguniangshan and Huanglong/Jiuzhaigou are located at higher elevations. For this trip, Beijing and Huangshan are the main focus. Beijing for Chinese history, Huangshan for the gorgeous scenery. Shanghai is just a short stop to enjoy the city's food before flying back. Itinerary Transport Beijing: Within Beijing just take subway or Didi. To 墓田欲 Great wall of China: Direct bus that pick up at 前门集展中心. No need to prebook, get up the bus and pay. For Badaling Great wall, you can take subway too. Beijing to Huangshan: Flight Huangshan and Shanghai: Subway or Didi  Visiting Huangshan There are 3 cable car routes. 2 of the cable car routes has the same bus pick up point and there is another one at the North. TangKouZhen 汤口镇 is the town closest to the entrance of Huangshan. HuangShan South gate 南门 is where you take the bus to bring you to cable car stations. Guizhou When I was telling my friends that I am going to Guizhou, many asked "Where is it?  What is there to see in Guizhou?", some asked "Go Guizhou eat Luo Si Fen (螺蛳粉)?"  "Drink Mao Tai (茅台)?"  Guizhou is an under rated place and not too familiar/ popular with foreigners.  For my entire trip, I only encountered local domestic travelers.  While other provinces in China were developing and prospering, Guizhou was one of the poorest province (4th lowest GDP) in China.
