Guangzhou makan list

Guangzhou is a food heaven and there are so many variety of food that you can choose from.  Below are some of the places that I have tried during my recent trip

1） 明兴正宗潮州鱼蛋粉面

Address： 广东省广州市越秀区中山六路177号

It's breakfast place where you get fishball soup with crispy fish skin.

2) 北京路步行街 (beijing pedestrian road)

There are many street food at this pedestrian road.  Take your pick!

 

开心花甲粉 was so good that we went back 3 times in our trip.  I love the octopus and lala bee hoon the most!

 陈添记鱼皮 - this is the branch from the famous shaxiajiu main branch

银记肠粉

Another good one that we went back 3 times

老长沙臭豆腐

  喜茶  HeyTea which is forever crowded

 3) 广州酒家 -  tried their dim sum and it was heavenly and yet won't break a bank

  

 

4） 黄沙海产

Address: 广东省广州市荔湾区黄沙大道11号

This is a seafood/ fish market. Recommended to wear high platform as your shoes may get wet.  You can choose your own live seafood and bring up to any restaurant to get them cook for you in any style.

5)  清平中药材专业市场

Address: 广东省广州市荔湾区清平中药材专业市场清平路55号

Beside the Huangsha fishery port, there is a Chinese medical wholesale market which you may be interested. 

6) shangxiajiu pedestrian street 上下九步行街

宝华面店 (@ 117 Baohua Rd) - noodle is very good.

Original Chen ji fish skin, there is a cheong one parallel to the road

7) 赞记龙凤礼饼

Address： Wende S Rd, Wen De Lu Wen Hua Shang Ye Jie, Yuexiu Qu

Freshly baked biscuit for souvenirs.  This is where the locals will get their biscuits
