China : Chengdu - LeShan - SiGuNiangShan

Itinerary

A little orientation to my itinerary.

Chengdu was our central base, with Jiuzhaigou to the north, Leshan to the south, and Siguniangshan to the west. The itinerary was not very well planned, as it involved repeated ascending and descending in altitude, which was difficult for someone like me who is prone to high-altitude sickness. Both Siguniangshan and Huanglong/Jiuzhaigou are located at higher elevations.

Day 1： Arrived evening. 成都（住成都）

Day 2：成都- 乐山-成都（住成都）

Day 3（包车）：成都 - 熊猫谷 - 四姑娘山（住四姑娘山）

Day 4（包车）：双桥沟 - 都江堰- 成都（住成都）

Day 5：成都

Day 6（包车）：成都 - 黄龙（住九寨沟）

Day 7：九寨沟（住九寨沟）

Day 8：九寨沟 - 成都（住成都）

Day 9：成都（住成都）

Day 10：成都 - 新加坡

Typically covered together as they are very near to each other.

四姑娘山

3 different routes in SiGuNiang, easiest is the 双桥沟 which is generally flat road and transport within the area. But you cannot see the four sisters mountain over here. No regrets as I can view the four sisters mountain from my hotel stay.
The other 2 routes are more for intermediate or advance trekkers who are willing to trek for the whole day but you can view the four sisters mountain.

九寨沟/黄龙

Train to Huang Long station. If you have driver, you can just start your trip to Huang Long and then go to JiuZhaiGou after visiting Huang Long.
remember to get the buggy ride in Huang Long in advance, limited tickets per day and sold out quickly. It's gonna be a 4km walk (upslope) to the the cascading terrace. Many people couldn't make it due to high altitude.

乐山/ 峨眉山

About 50 min train to LeShan. Typically half a day will do. Usually people will continue to EmeiShan and stay there for a night to enjoy the sunset/sunrise before heading back to Chengdu. Do a 2D1N LeShan+Emei Shan.
